“Taken Here” Remembers Those Affected by Immigration Enforcement
MCAD features TAKEN HERE and explores how the project brings together design, storytelling, and public space to create markers of witness and remembrance.

TAKEN HERE is a mission-driven, independent public remembrance project founded by Andrea. What began with one act of witness has grown into a public way to remember people and communities forever changed by immigration enforcement. TAKEN HERE crosses state lines and communities. You don't have to live where someone was taken to bear witness.
